What is Temptation Island Spain?
Temptation Island Spain is a popular reality dating show that follows the same premise as its naughty international counterparts. Five couples who are facing ‘challenges’ in their relationships are taken to a tropical island, where they are separated and introduced to a group of ‘tempters’ – single boys and single girls.
The couples must test their loyalty and trust as they flirt with these singles in various tempting and provocative situations set up by the show’s sneaky producers. At the end of the week the couples must watch a video playback of their other half ‘interacting’ with the singles. At the end of the dating ‘experiment’ the couples either renew their vows and leave stronger than ever… or head straight to splits-ville in a whirlwind of guilt, jealously and recrimination.
Temptation Island Spain is one of Spain’s most-watched TV shows – 2025’s season 8 (the Montoya season) “set a new ratings record every night, culminating in a grand finale watched by over 4.6 million viewers with a 32.9% share of TV audiences.”
