Tchéky Karyo as Julien Baptiste
Turkish-born French actor, Tchéky Karyo stars as Julien Baptiste, the French detective from The Missing. At the start of Baptiste, Julien is retired and recovering from brain surgery. He wants a peaceful life with his family until an old friend asks for help.
Karyo says that the Fans of The Missing and new viewers will enjoy his character in Baptiste. Julien is still stubborn and empathetic, seeking the truth about human nature. He continues to face cases involving missing people and difficult journeys.
Before The Missing and Baptiste, Karyo starred in popular films like The Patriot, Bad Boys, The Core and GoldenEye, acting alongside Judi Dench and Sean Bean.
Tom Hollander Plays Edward Stratton

Anastasia Hille as Celia Baptiste

Tchéky Karyo as Julien Baptiste
The French actor gained fame in the UK for his roles in both seasons of The Missing. He was already a well-known actor in France before that. He starred in the 1988 French film L’Ours (The Bear) and Luc Besson’s Nikita. He’s also appeared in Hollywood movies like Bad Boys and The Patriot.
