
Guess what? The Critics Choice Awards are just around the corner, and the buzz is on! Last week, the TV nominations were announced, with Shōgun snagging six nods, including Best Drama Series. Now, it’s all about the movies! The 2025 film nominees are here, and Conclave and Wicked are leading the race with 11 nominations each, including Best Picture. Close behind are Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pérez with 10 nominations, and The Brutalist with nine.
The Critics Choice Awards will air live on E!. From 7–10 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, with Chelsea Handler returning as host. Meet the Host of The Critics Choice Awards 2025

Chelsea Joy Handler, born on February 25, 1975, in Livingston, New Jersey. She is an American comedian, actress, writer, TV host, and producer. She is best known for hosting the late-night talk show Chelsea Lately on the E! network from 2007 to 2014 and later hosting Chelsea on Netflix from 2016 to 2017. In 2012, she was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people. She will also host the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
