Zoe Saldaña shared an update about the next Avatar movie, titled Avatar: Fire and Ash. After winning a Golden Globe for her role as Rita Mora Castro in Netflix’s movie Emilia Pérez, director James Cameron personally congratulated her. Zoe has played Neytiri in the Avatar movies since the first film in 2009. She returned for Avatar: The Way of Water and will star again in Avatar: Fire and Ash, which will be released in December 2025.
At a Golden Globes press conference, Zoe Saldaña said that James Cameron is in New Zealand, working on editing the next Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash. She shared that Cameron sent her a lovely message to congratulate her during the awards ceremony.
Zoe also said that his support and kind words have meant a lot to her over the years.
