It’s normal for Made in Chelsea cast members to step away from the show after a breakup, but it’s rare for someone to take a break while still in a relationship.
Yasmine Zweegers and Sam Prince began dating in the summer of 2023, and their relationship quickly became awkward and intense. It started off controversially—just a few days after Sam ended things with his ex-girlfriend Inga Valentiner, who was also one of Yas’s close friends. Everything came to light during a group trip to Mallorca.
After returning to London, the pair felt isolated and distanced themselves from some of their closest friends. At the same time, their bond strengthened. They launched a joint food podcast called ‘All Things Deliciousss’, traveled a lot, and decided to step away from the show to focus on each other.

They’re both back now for season 29, but not as a couple. Sam is in the Maldives, single again, while Yas is in London reconnecting with her old friends Miles Nazaire and David ‘Temps’ Templer.
There was a lot of drama packed in that first episode. It’s funny, though, a lot has changed now but it’s interesting to see what happened those months ago.
Yas tells us

It’s a hard one having an ex in the friendship group and they made the decision not to both go to the Maldives for that reason. We’re still broken up but we’re on good terms. I think you see it unravel as the series goes on, you see more of what happened and the ins and outs of our relationship. Obviously we weren’t together at the beginning of the series, so neither of us really spoke about one another until we came back to London. I can’t say anything actually happened. The relationship didn’t work out, but there’s a lot of love there for one another. She even admitted that her ex made her laugh when she watched the first episode – an episode where he tries to pursue Jack Taylor’s new girlfriend, Livvy Barker.
Yas confirms
Does being on good terms mean they might get back together this season?
There is a date in the series, but it’s not with my ex. It goes interestingly… Let’s say it’s not smooth sailing, right? But there is a date situation that happens later on in the series that didn’t go the way I thought it would go.
she hints
Yas reveals she’s actually part of “a bit of a love triangle” this season, and she’s also seeing someone right now.

Now that she and Sam are no longer together, the MIC star has been able to fix her friendship with Miles, who she once had a flirty, on-and-off connection with.
I think when you’re in a relationship, you’re kind of with each other. Sam and I were away a lot so we weren’t in London for a while. But I’m closer with Miles again.
she says, explaining why she and Sam were absent for a while.
Sadly, her friendship with Temps didn’t go as well.
Temps and I have a little bit of a turbulent relationship this series. We’re still filming, and we’ve not sorted it out yet. We are obviously really good friends and it’s hard to not be friends with your close friend, but it’s not been sorted.
Still, Yas is happy to be filming again. This season, we’ll see her get closer to Jazz Saunders and Lauren Sintes, and maybe also to her most recent ex.
There’s some dating, but this series is more about the relationships among us as friends. There is a lot of drama between couples too, couples who are against each other…
she adds. We’re seated
