Made in Chelsea has returned with a bang. While some of the cast stayed close to the show’s classic King’s Road setting for the first two episodes, others jetted off to the Maldives for a trademark drama-packed getaway—exactly what we expected.

When heat caught up exclusively with couple Tristan Phipps and Jules Pollard—who made their relationship official in Cape Town on New Year’s Eve—they couldn’t help but laugh when we innocently asked if any major fall-outs were coming in Series 29.
You know that’s going to happen! Some of the unsurprising people are up to the same old tricks. I think patience has run out in certain capacities. I’ve got no time for some people anymore. What’s the expression? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
Tristan, 29, says
I think I’ve moved forward in a direction that I’m really enjoying. Friendships I maybe wasn’t so sure of are fading out, and the friendships that I really value and respect are really blossoming.
He adds,
Meanwhile, former safari guide Tristan—who’s previously been linked to MIC co-stars like Olivia Bentley, Lauren Sintès, and Yasmine Zweegers—shares that he’s never felt as “connected and secure” with anyone as he does with Jules.

While Tristan has been part of the Made in Chelsea family since 2018, Jules only stepped into the reality TV world last year. She credits the show for helping her come out of her shell, saying,
I’m definitely showing my personality a lot more. I’m quite a jokey person and I feel like people are starting to see that, which I’m happy about.
Reflecting on how she’s changed since joining the cast, Jules adds,
Before I joined the show, I wasn’t confrontational. Now, I just don’t stand for any bullst. It’s for valid reasons. If I care about something and someone’s trying to fk it up or get involved, then that’s when I will have to sass someone. I’m not having that, because this is my real life. You get a lot of opinions from certain people on the show. So you definitely see a sassy side to me!
Made in Chelsea airs Monday at 9pm on E4 or stream on Channel 4.
