Timothée Chalamet is keeping his relationship with Kylie Jenner out of the spotlight.
The 29-year-old actor, who has been dating Jenner, 28, since spring 2023, remained tight-lipped about their romance in his new Vogue December cover interview published Thursday, November 6. When the magazine noted that Chalamet declined to discuss his personal life, he replied, “I don’t say that with any fear, I just don’t have anything to say.”
A Private Relationship
Chalamet and Jenner first sparked dating rumors in early 2023 and have since made a handful of public appearances together. The pair made their red carpet debut in May at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome. More recently, they were seen at the Marty Supreme world premiere during the New York Film Festival on October 6 and later attended a Yankees playoff game on October 8, where Jenner wore a jacket featuring the film’s title.
Reflections on Love and Family
Though Chalamet avoided discussing Jenner directly, he reflected on themes of marriage and family while talking about his upcoming film Marty Supreme, which releases on December 25.
“I had a friend of mine in school — a girl named Grace — and her parents had the most beautiful, amazing marriage,” he shared. “This is not in context of being great, so this is a little tangential, but it showed me excellence can exist without it being arduous.”
He continued, “You don’t have to be selfish to be great, no. And I know, because I’ve worked with directors who are incredible and who are incredibly present in their family life.”
Inspired by Denis Villeneuve
Chalamet also praised Dune director Denis Villeneuve, whom he called an example of balancing career and family.
“I’m just amazed by him,” Chalamet said, recalling an emotional moment on set. “It was his birthday two days ago, and one of his kids flew themselves out as a surprise, and he’s hugging him, and he’s weeping on set, and people are taking videos. Denis is a total master of his craft, and he’s a great family man.”
Dune: Part Three is set to hit theaters in December 2026, while Marty Supreme opens on December 25.
