The ratings fight between The Block and The Voice heated up last night, with the shows landing in third and fourth place overall, reaching 1,852,000 and 1,713,000 viewers nationwide.
In episode six, four impressive singers wowed The Voice judges and secured their spots in the competition.

21-year-old Matthias Gault, inspired by his jazz violinist grandfather, got all four chairs to turn with his performance of The Killers’ hit When You Were Young.

Judges Richard Marx and Mel C battled to win him over, both using their ties with Coldplay’s Chris Martin to convince him. In the end, Mel won thanks to a special video message from Martin.
Meanwhile, on The Block, another fight broke out.
Upset about being told to get approval from Foreman Dan for major structural changes, Han lashed out at him.
