Elliot Page’s character, Viktor Hargreeves, gives a severe warning in the last trailer for the fourth season of the popular Netflix superhero show, The Umbrella Academy.
In the final trailer for the fourth season of the sci-fi action series, Elliot Page returns as Viktor Hargreeves. Viktor and his siblings try to save the world from ending one last time.
The trailer, set to My Chemical Romance’s “The End,” starts with Viktor (Elliot Page) calling his brother Ben (Justin H. Min). Viktor says, “Ben, listen. Something is happening to you, and it will only get worse. You’ll end the world in about 48 hours.” Then, their father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore), says, “Actually, it’s 24 hours!”
The trailer hints that “tentacle boy” Ben is the key to understanding all the timelines the Hargreeves have lived through. The team then starts working on their “one last chapter” and “one last shot” to save the world before it ends for good.
This is the second full trailer for the new series. All six episodes will be on Netflix on August 8.
The first trailer showed Viktor (Elliot Page) gathering the Hargreeves for one last rescue mission in May. Even though Viktor said they “drive each other crazy,” he admitted, “when things go bad, they’re there for me.”
The Hargreeves siblings have split up after the big fight at the Hotel Oblivion, which reset their timeline. They each try to find a new normal without their powers but with mixed results.
However, their strange new world is hard to ignore. Their father, Reginald, is now alive and out in public, running a powerful and shady business empire.
A secret group called The Keepers holds hidden meetings, believing their reality is fake and a big reckoning is coming. With these new threats around them, the Umbrella Academy must reunite one last time. They have to risk the fragile peace they’ve worked so hard for to make things right finally.
In a first look at the new series, Elliot Page and Aidan Gallagher, known for Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, are seen planning their final mission with excitement.
Elliot Page, who plays Viktor, has promised fans an enjoyable last season with classic Hargreeves chaos, surprises, humour, and twists.
Despite high excitement from fans, there have been accusations against the show’s creator, Steve Blackman. A recent investigation by Rolling Stone reported that 12 staff members accused Blackman of creating a harmful work environment on the set of The Umbrella Academy.
Some people accused the show’s creator, Steve Blackman, of saying inappropriate things and misbehaving, like bullying and taking credit for others’ work. They also said he didn’t renew a pregnant writer’s contract because she didn’t say she was pregnant and complained about showing Elliot Page’s transition on screen.
Blackman’s representatives called these claims untrue and ridiculous. An investigation by The Umbrella Academy’s production company mostly cleared Blackman of the accusations. The Umbrella Academy will be on Netflix starting August 8th.
