Raul Julia, who played Gomez Addams, was sadly not at the gathering because he passed away in 1994, just a year after Addams Family Values came out. However, the remaining cast members shared joyful memories of working with him on set. Anjelica Huston talked about his professionalism and how he always knew how to lift everyone’s spirits.

He was the perfect gentleman, he was always the first one to arrive on set and the last one to leave. He was a fantastic dancer. I would often get really grumpy during dance rehearsals because I thought they were unnecessary since I was such a great dancer. But he always insisted on being there and staying until the end.
Huston shared
He always sang between scenes and takes. He would sing full opera! He kept us all entertained.
Huston continued,
These days, the Addams Family characters are becoming popular again thanks to Netflix’s reboot series Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega in the role that Ricci once played. Wednesday seems to be especially popular with younger viewers, just like how The Addams Family and Addams Family Values were made for families. So, what is it about these characters that kids find so appealing?
It’s because we do all the wrong things and still get a lot of attention for it,
Huston explained

When Entertainment Weekly visited the set of The Addams Family in 1991, Ricci described “a rough week” on set:
I had to chop off Pugsley’s arm, recite Shakespeare, and perform a huge death scene for the school play in the movie. It was really exhausting.
In the second film, her character, Wednesday, comes up with creative ways to try and kill her new baby brother. At the panel, Ricci shared a special insight she gained about how kids understand The Addams Family after showing the movies to her child.
“I remember showing my son The Addams Family when he was 6, and he kept looking at me and saying, ‘Oh mom, you’re so naughty’, he was so excited that all these characters were being naughty that he couldn’t believe it.”
