Coronel’s character, Jay Kelso, was the son of Ashton Kutcher’s Michael Kelso and Mila Kunis’ Jackie Burkhart.

Callie Haverda, who played Leia Forman, the daughter of Topher Grace’s Eric Forman and Laura Prepon’s Donna Pinciotti, also shared kind words for Smith, who played her grandfather, Red Forman.

Haverda said,

I have some tough news… Netflix will not be renewing the show,
Smith wrote
He shared how much he enjoyed playing Grandpa Red and thanked everyone involved in the show. Smith ended with some hope, saying they would try to bring the show back on another platform.
To quote Red Forman… we won’t be dumbasses. We’ll shop the show because good grandparents would work hard to get these kids through high school.
