At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift may have walked away empty-handed, but she once again proved why she’s a fan favorite. The pop superstar, who was nominated for six awards including Album of the Year and Record of the Year didn’t take home any trophies but still had an unforgettable night.
One standout moment came when Swift graciously shared her seat with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo after the actress struggled to find hers mid-show. In a viral fan video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Swift dressed in a striking red Vivienne Westwood ensemble beckoned Erivo over, scooted over, and made room for her inside the packed Crypto.com Arena. Later, the two were seen enjoying the show alongside Swift’s longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, even recreating the viral “holding space” TikTok trend from Erivo’s Wicked press tour with Ariana Grande.

While Swift lost all six of her Grammy nominations, she was all smiles throughout the evening. She enthusiastically cheered on Sabrina Carpenter her Eras Tour opener who won Best Pop Vocal Album, even jumping to her feet in celebration. During Kendrick Lamar’s performance of Not Like Us, which won Record of the Year, Swift was spotted dancing along.
The biggest award of the night, Album of the Year, went to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, marking her first win in the category. Swift was seen toasting the victory with none other than Jay-Z.
One person missing from Swift’s Grammys night was her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who had just landed in New Orleans ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl face-off against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
Despite leaving without any awards, Swift’s presence dominated the night with viral moments, star-studded interactions, and her ever-gracious demeanor.
