Ahead of the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things, fans are diving back into the hit sci-fi thriller, pushing all four previous seasons back into Netflix’s Top 10 television chart simultaneously, a first for the streamer.
The Duffer Brothers’ 1980s-inspired series has surged in popularity as Season 5 prepares to debut on November 26 at 5 p.m. PT with its first four episodes.
According to Netflix’s viewing data this week, Season 1 entered the Top 10 at No. 3 with 4.1 million views. Season 4 landed at No. 5 with 3.3 million views, while Season 2 took the No. 7 spot with 3.1 million views. Season 3 followed closely at No. 9, also with 3.1 million views.
The renewed viewer momentum comes as longtime fans revisit major storylines, character arcs, and hidden easter eggs scattered throughout the series. Season 1 premiered nearly a decade ago in 2016, followed by Season 2 in 2017, Season 3 in 2019, and Season 4 in 2022.
The growing excitement around Season 5 has clearly influenced viewing behavior. Last week, only the first two seasons appeared in the Top 10, ranking at No. 4 and No. 9, with 3.3M and 2.7M views, respectively.
