Jacob Batalon is officially off the market!
The Spider-Man star recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Veronica Leahov, in a stunning waterside moment in New York City.
Sharing the exciting news on social media, the 28-year-old actor posted a series of photos from the heartfelt proposal. In the images, Jacob got down on one knee in front of a lavish, heart-shaped floral arrangement illuminated by neon lights reading, “Will you marry me?” The dazzling NYC skyline provided the perfect backdrop as the couple shared a celebratory kiss Veronica looking elegant in a white lace gown and fur coat, while Jacob opted for black pants and a leather jacket.
Adding a special touch to his post, Jacob included a close-up shot of his fiancée’s engagement ring, captioning the moment, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”
Veronica also took to Instagram to share her joy, writing, “A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion. This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!”

Their Love Story
Since making their relationship public, Jacob and Veronica have never shied away from expressing their love for each other. Back in November, the Reginald the Vampire star marked Veronica’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SOUL,” he wrote on Nov. 28, posting a series of pictures of his now-fiancée. “You’re truly the most amazing person in my life and I’m thankful that I get to call you mine. You’re thoughtful, kind, smart, and funny as f*. I just want the world to know how unique and special you are. This year is gonna be another amazing year of life! I’m so excited, and I’m looking forward to spending it with you and the rest of our future together.”
A ‘Spider-Man’ Love Connection
Jacob and Veronica’s engagement comes just two months after his Spider-Man co-stars, Tom Holland and Zendaya, reportedly got engaged. While the couple has kept their relationship largely private, Zendaya sparked speculation in January when she was spotted wearing a massive five-carat diamond ring at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Adding to the excitement, Tom’s father, Dominic Holland, later confirmed in a Jan. 10 Patreon post that his son had meticulously planned the proposal.
“He had purchased a ring,” Dominic wrote. “He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…”
