After three seasons on Prime Video‘s popular show The Boys, Claudia Doumit has landed her next major role in SOULM8TE, a new movie from Atomic Monster and Blumhouse, connected to the M3GAN universe.
The details about the role Claudia Doumit will play are still a secret. She’ll be starring alongside Lily Sullivan and David Rysdahl, who were already announced as leads.
The movie follows the style of ’90s thrillers but adds a modern twist with technology. It tells the story of a man, played by David Rysdahl, who gets an AI android, played by Lily Sullivan, to help him deal with the loss of his wife. However, while trying to make the robot a real partner, he accidentally turns it into a dangerous soulmate.

Kate Dolan, known for You Are Not My Mother, is directing this film, which is said to be much edgier than M3GAN. She also rewrote the first version of the script, which was originally written by Rafael Jordan, based on a story by James Wan, Ingrid Bisu, and Jordan. James Wan and Jason Blum are producing the movie, with Michael Clear and Judson Scott from Wan’s Atomic Monster as executive producers alongside Ingrid Bisu. Alayna Glasthal is overseeing the project for Atomic Monster.

SOULM8TE got the green light after the unexpected success of M3GAN, a horror movie about a realistic robotic doll, which made over $181 million worldwide in January 2023. A sequel, called M3GAN 2.0, is also in progress, with Allison Williams and Violet McGraw returning. It’s set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025.

Claudia Doumit, an Australian actress with Lebanese and Italian roots, is best known for playing Victoria Neuman, a congresswoman who becomes Vice President-Elect on The Boys. This character is part of one of the show’s biggest surprises. Before that, she starred as time traveler Jiya on NBC’s popular series Timeless, created by Shawn Ryan and The Boys’ Eric Kripke. In movies, she has appeared in Where’d You Go, Bernadette with Cate Blanchett, directed by Richard Linklater, Netflix’s Dude with Lucy Hale and Awkwafina, and the indie drama Dylan & Zoey in 2022, which she also produced.
Claudia Doumit is represented by Kanica Suy from Cultivate Entertainment and lawyer N. Hayes Robbins from Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
