The casting news for the Rebecca Ferguson-led Apple TV+ show was revealed on the same day the Season 2 finale aired.
Apple TV+ has added Ashley Zukerman and Jessica Henwick to the cast of Silo for Season 3. Zukerman, known for Succession and the Fear Street movies, and Henwick, recognized for Huntington, The Royal Hotel, and Glass Onion, will play regular roles in the Rebecca Ferguson-led series.
This announcement was made on Friday, the same day Silo aired its Season 2 finale. The episode (spoiler alert!) includes a scene hinting at these new characters.
In Season 3, which was confirmed by the streaming platform in December along with a fourth season, Ashley Zukerman will play Daniel, an ambitious young congressman. Jessica Henwick will take on the role of Helen, a clever and sharp-witted reporter, according to the official character descriptions.

Graham Yost, the creator of Silo, told the magazine that Daniel and Helen are based on characters from the second book in Hugh Howey’s trilogy, but the show made some big changes.
We changed the character’s name from Donald to Daniel, No matter where you stand politically, having someone named Donald in that role felt too confusing. We didn’t want people to overthink it or wonder if we were making a statement. So, we decided to avoid it altogether. We also wanted to expand their relationship more than it was in the book, so we made another change by switching Thurman’s character to a woman.
Yost explained
Zukerman and Henwick will join Rebecca Ferguson in Silo. Ferguson plays Juliette, an engineer living in an underground home with the last 10,000 people on Earth, safe from the poisonous world outside. According to the official description, Juliette starts investigating a loved one’s murder and stumbles upon a mystery much bigger than she ever expected.
