With less than two weeks until the Severance Season 2 finale, its age rating confirms it will be the longest episode in the series yet—and it won’t shy away from blood.
Last week’s episode of Severance sparked mixed reactions. It focused on Harmony Cobel’s trip to Salt’s Neck, her frozen hometown, which was abandoned and ravaged by addiction after Lumon shut down its ether mill.
The episode played a key role in uncovering Cobel’s past with Lumon while setting up a confrontation with Mark and Devon. Fans can expect the final two episodes of Season 2 to offer a more balanced focus on all the characters—while giving them plenty of screen time.

Severance Season 2, Episode 10 has a runtime of 76 minutes and has been rated MA 15+ by the Australian Classification Board for “strong violence and blood and gore.” For reference, all other episodes of Severance in Australia have been rated M for Mature—except Season 2, Episode 8, which received an MA 15+ for “strong drug use.”

Severance isn’t typically a violent show, with its most intense moments being Irving’s attempt to drown Helena at Woe’s Hollow and Asal Reghabi attacking Doug Graner in Season 1. However, the Season 2 finale is said to have a “strong impact” due to its themes and violence. Given that it’s the longest episode in the series so far, fans are eager to see what that entails.
For reference Defiant Jazz where Helly hangs herself and Reghabi kills Graner was yellow for themes and blue for violence, and Chikhai Bardo where Gemma miscarries is yellow for both, so what the f**k could possibly be coming?
