Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing another lawsuit, this time from a John Doe who alleges that the music mogul drugged and sexually assaulted him in 2015.
Filed by attorney Tony Buzbee in New York, the lawsuit accuses Combs of targeting the aspiring rapper and singer during a night out at a Los Angeles nightclub. Buzbee, who has been involved in multiple legal actions against Combs in recent months, including one that also named Jay-Z, submitted the latest suit earlier today.
Allegations Against Combs
According to the lawsuit, the then-23-year-old Doe was scheduled to perform as an opening act at a series of L.A. nightclubs, including QC’s 20/20. Prior to the performance, he was allegedly informed that Combs would be in attendance and that a successful set could lead to a potential signing with Bad Boy Records.
Later that night, Doe attended an afterparty at the club, where he claims to have witnessed prominent entertainers using drugs. He was then handed a drink by one of Combs’ associates, who reportedly told him it was from Combs himself. Shortly after consuming it, he says he realized he had been drugged.

Doe alleges that he drifted in and out of consciousness and witnessed Combs and his entourage engaging in group sex with others who “appeared either drugged, unconscious, or as if they were paid escorts.” He claims he later awoke to Combs groping him and believes that Combs had performed oral sex on him.
As he regained full consciousness, Doe alleges he tried to resist but was warned that refusing would “ruin his chances” in the music industry. Combs then allegedly ordered him to have sex with a woman at the party. Doe says he pretended to need water and use the bathroom before escaping to the parking lot and driving away.
Combs’ Legal Team Responds
As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.
In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ attorneys dismissed the claims, stating:
Combs’ Ongoing Legal Battles
Combs is currently being held in Brooklyn as he awaits his May trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Just last week, prosecutors filed an updated indictment, expanding the case against him to include two additional female victims and backdating his racketeering charges to 2004 four years earlier than initially stated.
The latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal troubles for Combs, whose once-dominant presence in the music industry is now overshadowed by mounting allegations and courtroom battles.
