Sinner and Djokovic are set to face off in a much-anticipated second semi-final on Friday, following the first match between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz.
Sinner leads their head-to-head 5-4, though Djokovic won their previous two meetings at Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023. The world No. 1 has won his last four matches against the Serbian, including a semi-final win at the French Open last month.

The 23-year-old Italian is aiming for his first Wimbledon final and his fourth Grand Slam title overall.
Djokovic is chasing a record-tying eighth Wimbledon title and hopes to become the oldest Grand Slam singles champion at 38. The 24-time major winner has played in the last six Wimbledon finals.
In a video posted on Instagram by Serbian outlet Sport Klub, a fan driving near the All England Club spotted Federer and asked the Swiss legend for his prediction on the semi-final.

Roger, who’s going to win tomorrow? Is Novak going to win? Erm… who’s he playing? I don’t even know.
asked the fan and then Federer replied
After hearing that Sinner is Djokovic’s opponent, Federer paused for a moment before choosing to support his former rival.
I think Novak.

Federer was in the crowd on Centre Court on Monday to watch Djokovic’s four-set victory over Alex de Minaur in the last 16.
Well, I mean it’s probably the first time he’s watching me and I won the match. The last couple I lost, so good to break the curse (laughs). It’s great, obviously. Great to have Roger, huge champion and someone that I admired and respected. We shared the stage for so many years and it’s great to have him back in his most successful and his favourite tournament, no doubt.
In his on-court interview, Djokovic joked
The world No. 6 later shared that he had a conversation with Federer after the match.

We did catch up very shortly, yeah. We greeted each other. He congratulated me and said it was a great match. That’s all. It was a very short greeting, but it was really nice to have him around. Obviously he’s one of the greatest legends of our game in the history of tennis. So it always is extra special when he’s on the stands. I’m glad to break the curse and win in front of him. It’s a big relief (smiling).
Djokovic said in his press conference
Djokovic and Federer faced each other 50 times in a legendary rivalry from 2006 to 2020, with the Serbian leading 27-23.
