The singer commented, “Karma’s catching up with you,” after hearing that Wallace is being looked into for bad behavior.
Rod Stewart has criticized Gregg Wallace, saying the former “Celebrity MasterChef” host embarrassed his wife, Penny Lancaster, on the BBC show in 2021. Penny was eliminated during the quarter-finals.
Good Riddance Wallace … You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, but you had that part cut out didn’t you?, You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got you.
the British pop and rock singer and song writer wrote in an Instagram post

Rod Stewart’s comments came after news that Banijay U.K., the company behind “MasterChef,” is investigating complaints about Gregg Wallace. The complaints are about past bad behavior while he worked on one of their shows.
The company said that even though the complaints weren’t made directly to them, they decided to start a fair and independent investigation. While this is happening, Gregg Wallace will leave his role on “MasterChef” and will help with the investigation.
The investigation started after BBC News revealed that 13 people accused 60-year-old Gregg Wallace of making inappropriate sexual comments to co-workers over 17 years.
One of the people accusing Gregg Wallace is Kirsty Wark, a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef in 2011. She said he made inappropriate jokes about sex during filming on two occasions. Other accusations include him talking about his sex life, taking off his shirt in front of a female co-worker and saying it was a “fashion show,” and telling a younger female colleague he wasn’t wearing underwear under his jeans.
BBC News also reported that a former MasterChef worker said Gregg Wallace showed her shirtless pictures of himself and asked her to send him messages. Another person who worked on Big Weekends said Wallace was very curious about her dating women and asked her personal questions about how it worked.

Gregg Wallace has worked on many TV shows besides MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef, and Professional MasterChef. He was the first host of Saturday Kitchen in 2002 and has also been part of shows like Eat Well for Less, Inside the Factory, Turn Back Time, Harvest, Supermarket Secrets, and Who Do You Think You Are?.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out and shown their support, I really appreciate it, thank you so much.

The BBC reported that Gregg Wallace’s lawyers said the accusations against him are completely untrue. A spokesperson for Wallace didn’t reply to TheWrap’s request for a comment right away.
A BBC spokesperson said in a statement,
We take all concerns seriously and have strong systems to handle them. We make it clear that any behavior not meeting the BBC’s standards will not be accepted. If someone is hired by another company, we share any complaints with that company and will support them in dealing with the issue.
