When Rhi walked down the aisle to Jeff — a man she had already known and dated before joining Married at First Sight Australia 2025 — we didn’t expect their relationship to last outside the show.
But they proved us wrong, as Jeff and Rhi became the strongest couple and the only successful match out of MAFS in 2025. Rhi joined the reality dating show hoping to meet someone she could settle down with and start a family with after struggling for a long time with the ups and downs of modern dating.
Whether it was destiny or the matchmaking skills of the show’s experts, the 34-year-old was paired with Jeff, 39, who shared all the values she had been searching for.
Advertisement We dated last year. It kind of just fizzled, we both just went our separate ways. But we remained friends – we just ran a half-marathon together. We’ve even had coffee and stuff since then. Jeff is an amazing person. It was just pretty much a timing thing – that was the reason it did not go forward.
Rhi confessed
They started as friends and stayed that way when they met again on MAFS. It was hard for them to move things forward, but taking things slow worked out in the end!

Rhi said during final vows
There was never any doubt about Rhi and Jeff’s relationship on MAFS. Jeff showed he wanted to keep things going during Homestay Week by giving his ‘wife’ a key to his home – and that key has definitely been used many times since they got back to the real world.
Knowing my feelings were being matched gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed, I started to picture our future together. Rhi, I am falling in love with you, Rhi you’re it for me, I choose you and I hope this is forever.

At the MAFS reunion commitment ceremony, Rhi and Jeff said “I love you” to each other for the very first time.
In a sweet full circle moment, Jeff took Rhi on a mini golf date — the same activity they did on their “very first date.”
