They’re in it to win it!
The Eurovision Song Contest celebrates its 69th year in Switzerland, where it first took place in 1956. BBC will air all three nights, including the two semi-finals on May 13, and May 15, followed by the grand final on May 17. Viewers outside the UK can also watch the show by using a VPN to access.
Remember Monday are set to hit the Eurovision stage and are choosing to ignore any criticism coming their way. The trio will perform their original track What the Hell Just Happened? during the second semi-final on 15th May. While their Eurovision entry has received plenty of support, it hasn’t been without some negative reactions.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com and other media outlets, the group responded to the backlash with a straightforward five-word reply: “We can’t be for everyone.” Expanding on their response, the group shared:
I think you do just kind of have to accept, as an artist, that what you do isn’t going to be loved by everyone. There are people out there that don’t like Taylor Swift – I think they’re a bit crazy, but they do exist. So, you know, we can’t be for everyone, and that’s fine.

There are a lot of nods to the song, There’s an item in the song that will be with us on the stage. A huge item, and it’s not a shoe!
the band shared
Their performance is being crafted by creative director Ace Bowerman, known for working with stars like Dua Lipa, Fred Again, and Ed Sheeran, so expectations are high. Determined to make their mark, the band is aiming for victory and is cheering for a female winner this year.
We have said we really hope that a lady wins it this year. Obviously we hope it’s these ladies, but there are some amazing female vocalists in the competition as well who we support.
They told RadioTimes.com and other media:
The Eurovision Song Contest grand final is scheduled for Saturday, 17th May 2025.
