Prince William and Princess Catherine will continue their friendly rivalry at the upcoming Wales vs. England Six Nations Rugby match. The couple will attend the game at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.
This match is special for them because Prince William is the patron of Welsh Rugby, while Princess Catherine represents English Rugby, a role she took over in 2022 from Prince Harry.
Before the game, they will visit the Sir Tasker Watkins Suite, where they will meet injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust. This space is dedicated to helping injured players and their families.
The Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, founded in 1972, helps players in Wales who have suffered serious injuries. The trust invites them to all home games and also organizes a special “family day” each year, hosted by the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), for the players and their families.

The much-awaited Wales vs. England Six Nations match will begin at 16:45 GMT on Saturday, March 15. England will try to win their first Six Nations title since 2020, while Wales is fighting to avoid finishing last in the tournament. Wales has struggled recently, losing 16 international matches in a row, the worst losing streak in their history.
Prince William and Princess Catherine’s visit to Cardiff comes nearly three weeks after they visited Pontypridd, where they met people affected by recent floods.
This will be their first visit to Wales together since Catherine announced in March last year that she was receiving treatment for cancer, shortly after King Charles also revealed his cancer diagnosis. The Princess of Wales has slowly returned to public duties after finishing chemotherapy last summer.
