Peter Dinklage recently appeared on “Hot Ones” to discuss his new Amazon movie, “Brothers.”
Even though it has been many years since Peter Dinklage acted with Charles Dance on “Game of Thrones,” Dinklage still cares a lot for his mean on-screen dad. While chatting with Sean Evans on “Hot Ones,” Dinklage talked about how much he admires the talented British actor and how they have a special bond, even though their characters, Tyrion and Tywin Lannister, didn’t get along.
It was a small gesture, but it showed Dinklage that Charles really cared about him.
On “Game of Thrones,” the relationship between Dance’s character, Tywin, and Dinklage’s character, Tyrion, was always rocky. Tywin disliked Tyrion because he was born a dwarf and blamed him for his mother’s death during childbirth.

Later on, Tywin even tried to frame Tyrion for the murder of King Joffrey Baratheon, who was Tywin’s grandson. In the end, Tyrion got back at Tywin by shooting him with a crossbow while he was sitting on the toilet.
