Several seasons of the show will be available on the streaming platform in the US starting November 15th, 2024.
Netflix‘s streak of licensing deals keeps going with another major addition from NBC/Peacock for viewers in the United States, starting in mid-November 2024. It’s confirmed that at least two seasons of the workplace comedy A.P. Bio, created by Mike O’Brien, will be coming to Netflix in the US on November 15th.

The show stars Glenn Howerton, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique, Tom Bennett, Patton Oswalt, and Paula Pell. It originally aired on NBC, but seasons 3 and 4 moved to Peacock. Unfortunately, Peacock canceled the show in late 2021, cutting it short.
The show tells the story of Jack Griffin, a former Harvard philosophy professor who loses his dream job and ends up teaching advanced biology in his hometown. The series received positive reviews during its run, with 42 episodes made before it was canceled.
We don’t yet know which seasons will come to Netflix, but since the show has been off the air for a while, we guess that all four seasons might be included, though it could be as few as two.
This is the first time the show will be available outside of Peacock, where all four seasons currently stream on both the free-with-ads and premium plans. Adding the show to Netflix isn’t expected to affect its availability on Peacock.

As mentioned earlier, NBC has licensed several shows to Netflix recently. Lopez vs. Lopez was licensed in 2023, and its second season was added not long ago. In 2024, Netflix also got New Amsterdam from NBC, along with This Is Us (although Disney owns the rights to that one).
Netflix even saved Girls5eva from Peacock for a third season, though a fourth is unlikely. Other NBC shows available on Netflix US include Friday Night Lights, Seinfeld, The Blacklist, Good Girls, and The Good Place.
