As excitement builds for the final season of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown has a message for fans:
“Be patient,” the 21-year-old actress told reporters, at the premiere of her Netflix film The Electric State on Feb. 24. She encouraged viewers to trust the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, saying,
Let the Duffers create what they’ve been doing for the last 10 years so beautifully.
The final season, which finished filming in December after nearly a year of production, will be worth the wait, according to Brown. “It is worth it, I promise,” she assured.
The highly anticipated final season is set to be an action-packed conclusion, as creators Matt and Ross Duffer have previously assured. “There’s no time for a ramp-up. It’s going to be intense from beginning to end,” Matt stated in a press release last month, describing Season 5 as “big and epic.” Ross added that despite its grand scale, the season will maintain a sense of nostalgia.
It’s also going to feel familiar, This season is the biggest it’s ever been in scale, but everyone’s back together in Hawkins, interacting the same way they were in Season 1.

The final season brings back all the fan-favorite characters, featuring core stars Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, and Noah Schnapp. Joining them are David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton.

In January, fans got their first glimpse of what’s ahead when Netflix unveiled a missing person poster for Jane Hopper (also known as Eleven), played by Millie Bobby Brown. The poster indicates she has been missing since June 1986.
A teaser released on Stranger Things Day in November confirmed that Season 5 will include a time jump, taking place in the fall of 1987. This means Eleven has been missing for over a year when the story resumes.
Brown and her castmates wrapped filming for the final season in December, marking the end of their journey on Stranger Things. She gave fans a glimpse into the emotional last day on set through an Instagram post, captioned, “with love, el.”
The post featured a collection of photos from her eight years on the show, ending with a video of her reading a heartfelt farewell note to the cast and crew.
And isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me. I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys,” she said in the clip, reading from her phone.
I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you.

Brown’s co-star Sadie Sink also shared how hard it was to say goodbye to the show during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
It was really hard, really difficult to say goodbye, I think 10 years for the whole show… But I don’t know, we grew up on it, grew up with each other, like our audience grew up watching us.
