The Hollywood star was unsurprisingly nominated for the first eviction on CBB following a clash over his homophobic remarks directed at JoJo Siwa.

At the start of Thursday’s episode, housemates gather on the sofa to hear about three secret powers that were handed out. They learn that singer JoJo Siwa used her special “killer nomination” to put Rourke up for eviction, making him the first housemate in danger of leaving on Friday.
Shall I pack now? Relax Mickey, stay where you are. Mickey will face the first public vote.
says Rourke, just before Big Brother responds:
Housemates are also informed that Olympic athlete Daley Thompson is safe from eviction after Rourke used his “guardian angel” power to protect him. Love Island’s Chris Hughes is immune as well, thanks to winning a power of his own.

The moment arrives for the housemates to cast their first nominations. When it’s Rourke’s turn, he says:
I choose not to evict anyone. I refuse to do that. I will not pick two people to toss off the shelf.

Big Brother then intervenes to remind Rourke that he’s required to participate in the nominations process as part of the show’s rules. Meanwhile, presenter Angellica Bell puts forward former Conservative MP Michael Fabricant, who faced boos from the audience upon entering the house.
I don’t think he knows anything about me. When we talk he hasn’t asked me anything about me,
says Bell.

Fabricant, meanwhile, chooses to nominate EastEnders star Patsy Palmer after she made a remark about his well-known hairstyle.
She asked me something about ‘why do I wear a wig?’ And I’m not saying it is a wig actually. But what I am saying is that I found it slightly awkward being asked about it. I just don’t like my hair being raised.

This season of Big Brother has already stirred up plenty of controversy, with Rourke receiving an official warning from the show’s producers over homophobic remarks directed at Siwa. The incident has sparked calls from some viewers for his removal from the house.
Still, his fate may be decided by the public, as he now faces the first eviction vote on Friday’s episode. It’s been a dramatic opening week for the latest CBB series—and there may still be more surprises ahead.
Celebrity Big Brother continues at 9pm on weekdays on ITV1.
