Lewis Hamilton has shared a social media statement about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance, which he watched on Sunday (8 February) while sitting next to Kim Kardashian.
Rumors that the 41-year-old Formula One driver and the 45-year-old reality TV star are dating have been circulating for weeks, and their public appearance together has only increased the speculation. Although neither of them has confirmed a relationship, reports earlier this month claimed that the pair had spent time together on a trip to the Cotswolds.
At Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, they were seen sitting beside each other, smiling and talking. Many fans believed this moment could be their first public appearance together since the rumors began.
After the event, Hamilton posted on Instagram, focusing only on Bad Bunny’s performance. He wrote, “Incredible show, a privilege to have witnessed.”
In another post, he added, “That was one of THE most important Super Bowl halftime shows in history. In a world and a country led by people whose only goal is to encourage division, we witnessed an artist stand among a diverse group of people, on the same level, with a message of togetherness. It gave me goosebumps.”
Hamilton also said, “I have the highest respect for Benito and this show he put on. A show that wasn’t about himself, but about the people. I’m truly so inspired. I don’t speak Spanish, but his message of unity resonated deeply. Seeing the Grenada flag made me feel instantly connected. My family is from there. The Caribbean is home. Like he said, the only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
Bad Bunny’s performance celebrated Puerto Rican culture, diversity, and unity across the Americas. During the show, he said, “God bless America” while dancers carried flags from different countries. A message behind them read, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
At the end of the performance, Bad Bunny held a football that displayed the words “Together, We Are America.”
