Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are very much still a couple, despite a new wave of breakup speculation. Multiple sources tell PEOPLE the pair remain strong and “really in love,” following reports that surfaced after Chalamet was absent from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration on Nov. 9.
The actor, 29, was not avoiding the event, a source explains he was filming Dune: Part Three overseas at the time. “They’re great,” the insider says, noting that the couple have been balancing long-distance schedules throughout the year. “They’ve made an effort to see each other every few weeks. He has a few days off for the holidays so they’re making plans.”
Another source adds that Chalamet openly spoke about Jenner while filming Marty Supreme, saying, “Timothée talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme,” and revealing that “she even flew out to visit him on set in N.Y.C. They also met up in London while he was shooting Dune. They’re really in love.”
A third insider echoes the sentiment, confirming the couple is “going strong.” The reassurance comes after DailyMail reported on Nov. 11 that the pair had split.
Their last public appearance was in early October, when they attended a New York Yankees playoff game, shortly after Jenner supported Chalamet at the New York Film Festival premiere of Marty Supreme. An onlooker told PEOPLE the pair spent most of the afterparty together at Waverly Inn, appearing “warmly affectionate and happy.”
Before that, Jenner joined Chalamet in Budapest in August while he worked on the third Dune installment. The couple was photographed at a local café, with staff later sharing on Instagram that they were “super nice and kind.”
Despite demanding schedules, sources have consistently said the couple is committed. “They haven’t seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée’s been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie’s been working too,” an insider told PEOPLE in August, adding that the actor’s schedule has been “grueling, with very little downtime.”
Even with Jenner’s access to a private jet, logistics remain challenging. “She’s a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in L.A.,” the insider said. Still, the couple reportedly FaceTime “most days” and maintain regular communication. “They miss each other and are totally fine,” the source added.
Jenner and Chalamet began dating in spring 2023 and made their red carpet debut in May 2025 at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome. The duo continues to keep their relationship private, with Chalamet recently declining to comment on his love life in Vogue’s December cover story. When asked, he simply said: “I don’t say that with any fear, I just don’t have anything to say.”
