Kyle Richards is opening up about her struggles on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, revealing that her decision to stay on the show may not have been the best choice for her mental health. During an Amazon Live session, Richards shared candid insights into the challenging season while offering fans a glimpse of her favorite fashion picks inspired by her Aspen looks.
I probably should’ve taken the season off. To be honest, I was not equipped to deal with walking into those settings and feeling like I was being ambushed every time.
Richards confessed
The RHOBH veteran, who has been on the show since its inception, admitted the constant confrontations left her feeling anxious and depressed.

Reflecting on the tension with her co-stars, Richards cited specific moments, including an uncomfortable altercation with Dorit Kemsley.
It was not fun going to Sutton’s party, and then Dorit and I got into that. I started feeling like even people who I thought were my friends—I had to question. I really was depressed at that time.
she explained
Richards also addressed her communication with Dorit and PK Kemsley following their separation announcement, emphasizing that she reached out to both.
I sent both Dorit and PK a text when their separation was announced. That’s what I thought a good friend would do. That’s what people did when they found out about Mau and me, and I appreciated that.
she clarified
As for her friendship with Dorit, Richards hinted at a reconciliation, though she acknowledged the cyclical nature of reality TV drama.
Yes, we’re in a much, much better place now. But then the show airs, and you get mad again, and then we’ll have to do the reunion, and then it won’t be good again.
she said
Despite the ups and downs, Richards’ honesty has resonated with fans who continue to follow her journey on RHOBH. Tune in to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock.
