Kim Kardashian is definitely a girl’s girl!
On the June 6 episode of The Kardashians, Kim celebrated her 43rd birthday in October 2023 with a big party at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills. Her mom, Kris Jenner and her sisters Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner were there, along with lots of Kim’s friends like Hailey Bieber, Kimora Lee Simmons, Lauren Sánchez, and Ivanka Trump. Kourtney Kardashian Barker couldn’t make it because she was pregnant and needed to rest.
Advertisement Kim’s longtime close friends, including Allison Statter, Simone Harouche, Lindsay May, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Zoe Winkler Reinis, and Ashley Kassan, also joined the party to celebrate with her. When the cameras were rolling, Kim made sure to acknowledge their presence.
“It feels amazing that everyone wanted to come out, celebrate, and have dinner with us. Tonight, I just want to enjoy the moment with my friends, and I think we all need that sometimes,”
Kim said.
“They are officially the ‘lifers’ I always talk about,” Kim later told the cameras after her friends introduced themselves. “I always say I hit the jackpot with my friends. Spending my 43rd birthday with all the girls who inspire and motivate me is really special.”
As the footage showed Kim greeting everyone at the party, the SKIMS founder shared how much her friendships had impacted her and helped her stay mentally healthy.
“This week has been complete chaos, but honestly, I wouldn’t be here without my friends. I have the best, most supportive friends,” she explained. “I think that’s why I’ve never needed a therapist because I have the best friends in the world, and they mean everything to me.”
Before Kim’s birthday party on the new episode, she had to do jury duty. Even though she jokingly asked if “there’s some kind of O.J. connection that could get me out of it,” referring to O.J. Simpson who was friends with her late dad Robert Kardashian Sr., she still did her jury duty and was able to celebrate her birthday afterward.
During the party, Khloé, 39, shared details on her Instagram, showing off all the glittering decorations at the fancy dinner party, which was held at the rooftop bar of Funke.
Khloé’s post showed off the party’s bohemian theme, with lots of plants around a long wooden table. Each place had a name card and menu, and there were grass arrangements and candles for a cozy touch.
Kim also shared photos from the event and expressed her love for her friends in the caption.
“So blessed to have the best friends! I couldn’t have dreamed of being so lucky to call these girls my friends ✨ thank you for all the birthday love ❤️” Kim wrote. She also added, “and Kourt, I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic 🎂.”
