In the ‘Kardashians’ season 5 finale, Kim remembered the past year and joked that watching TV has made her feel ready to rule a country.
Kim Kardashian is confident she can handle anything. On Thursday, July 25, as season 5 of The Kardashians ended, the SKIMS founder reflected on all the changes in her life.
In a confessional, 43-year-old Kim said she is working on becoming a better version of herself as she advances in her career.
“This year has been amazing, I’m starting my acting journey. I had no idea this would happen. I’ve taken some time off to focus on being the best mom I can be.”
she said
“I’m not going to lie: I just watched the whole season of The Crown. I could rule a country,” Kim joked, talking about the final season of the Netflix show that followed the marriage of Camilla and Prince Charles after Diana’s death.
Kim also mentioned that she has “learned so much” and is excited about the future.

This year, Kim started acting and wants to continue. She got a role with Emma Roberts in American Horror Story: Delicate. In June, she talked to Chloë Sevigny for Variety’s Actors on Actors series and shared how she got the role.
She said that creator Ryan Murphy called her and asked, “I want to write something for you. Would you consider doing American Horror Story?”
“I know the franchise, and it was an honor,” Kim said. “Sometimes, you just need one person to believe in you and give you a push.”

This moment was also shown in this season of The Kardashians. Now, Kim is teaming up with Ryan Murphy again for a new series where she’ll play a powerful divorce attorney.
“I’m really excited about it,” she said. “Ryan’s confidence in me to take on this project means a lot. It feels right to play a lawyer on TV since I could be one in real life.”
Kim is set to star in and produce a new Netflix comedy film called The Fifth Wheel. Her reality show also showed her pitching process with writers Paula Pell and Janine Brito.
Kim continues to advocate for prison reform. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, she sat down with Gypsy Rose Blanchard after her release from prison. They talked about Gypsy’s eight-year sentence for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, which she committed with her then-boyfriend Nick Godejohn.

Kim explained that Gypsy’s mother made her go through unnecessary medical treatments because of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. This is a type of child abuse where a guardian makes a child seem sick for attention.
“How sick must you be as a mother to let your child have surgery for your own gain,” Kim said in the episode.
“I really appreciate you, Kim, because many people avoid talking about me since I’m too controversial,” Gypsy told the reality star. She added that her life has been a “rollercoaster ride” and she’s “grateful for a second chance.” “No one was ever there to guide me,” she told Kim.
