Kim remembered seeing lots of blood and her bone sticking out a bit. She shared the story and showed pictures of how the tip of her finger “broke off.”
Kim Kardashian isn’t letting anything slow her down, even a bad injury to her left hand.
In Thursday’s new episode of The Kardashians, Kim visits a doctor after breaking two fingers. When a producer asked what happened, Kim explained that she was closing her bathroom’s sliding doors when her son Saint distracted her, causing the doors to slam shut on her hand.
Advertisement “It went boom, and I looked at my hand and fell to the ground,” she remembered. “I grabbed the table and got on my knees. I saw all this blood and my bone sticking out a little bit, and I was like, ‘Get me help, I need ice.'”
“I didn’t scream or do anything. I just froze,” she added. “The pain was indescribable, and my whole body went into shock. It hurt more than childbirth.”
As Kim walked into the reception area, she explained that both of her bandaged fingers were broken. Personal photos she took right after the accident were shown.
“The tip broke off, so it’s like a floating piece, the doctor said my nail might never grow back, and I joked, ‘Come on, I’ll invent a nail implant.’”
she said as viewers saw an X-ray of her fingers.
After some time in a hyperbaric chamber, Kim’s doctor said her fingers looked “great.” This surprised Kim, who exclaimed, “You think that looks great?” The doctor mentioned there was just a little bit of dry blood around the injury.
“I just want to make sure I won’t have to get this amputated,” she said, and the doctor assured her she wouldn’t. “I’m not going to be slowed down. I’d give you the middle finger, but I don’t have one,” she joked, adding that her fingers looked like something from the Saw 2 movie poster.
A few days after her appointment, Kim’s sister Khloe joked that Kim looked like Edward Scissorhands. Kim said that even though the pain was still “horrible,” she wasn’t going to let her injury stop her busy schedule. With her fingers bandaged up, Kim and Khloe visited a prison in California to see how rehabilitation and therapy work.
