The Good American founder has two kids, Tatum and True, with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Khloé Kardashian and her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker are talking about the help they get for their families.
On Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians Season 5, Khloé visits Kourtney at her home. Kourtney asks why Khloé didn’t go to Paris. Khloé explains,
Advertisement “I didn’t feel like it was right for me. I got anxious about leaving the kids. Tristan’s not here, and it’s hard for me to leave them.”
Khloé has a daughter, True, who’s 6, and a son, Tatum, who’s 21 months, with her ex Tristan Thompson.
“I don’t have a parent to stay with them, and I was worried because the whole family was out of the country,” she continued. “I thought, what if there’s an earthquake or something and there’s no parent? I was just freaking myself out.”
Kourtney asks Khloé how she feels with Tristan away in Cleveland, Ohio.
“I’m fine, but he’s a big help when he’s here,” Khloé says. “I don’t have nannies at night, so I might need to get some help sometimes.”
“So no one lives with you right now?” Kourtney asks.
“No, and I’m very hands-on. I make all of True’s lunches and dinners. I do everything,” Khloé explains. “I don’t let anyone else do it. Tristan has helped, but I’m very particular.”
“Oh wow, I can’t imagine doing all that,” Kourtney admits.
In a confessional, Khloé shared that she loves her routine and her kids, but being a parent is hard work.
“Every night after 8:30, when True is asleep, I feel like I’m crawling to bed,” Khloé joked. “Like Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street. Then you wake up and do it all again.”
She continued, “I make the lunches with cute cookie-cutter shapes. Once you start doing that, you can’t stop.”
“It’s amazing but exhausting. You’re so tired, but when they’re asleep, you miss them. It’s the weirdest thing,” she admitted.
On May 13, Khloé took Tatum and True to see their dad play in the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics game in Cleveland.
In a TikTok video posted by NBC Sports Boston, Khloé is seen bringing her kids to see their dad. True, wearing a pink shirt with her hair in two buns, excitedly walked over to Tristan, who was holding Tatum. Tristan stood up to hug Khloé while holding Tatum.
True then showed Tristan her special VIP pass as she sat next to him.
A source told, “This was True’s first time seeing her dad play. She had been asking, so Khloé wanted to make it special. Tatum is still young, but it will be fun to see what he thinks of his dad playing.”
The source also said, “Tristan and Khloé are great at co-parenting, and Khloé always makes sure the kids spend as much time with their dad as possible.”
