Warning! This post shares details about Episode 5 of Agatha All Along.
It’s official: Wiccan has now joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After months of guesses, Episode 5 of Agatha All Along confirmed that Joe Locke is playing Wanda Maximoff’s son, Billy Kaplan, also known as Wiccan. While many fans had predicted this, it was still surprising when the camera showed Billy’s angry face, wearing a blue crown like his mom’s, after he pushed Agatha and the coven off the road.
“This is when things start to get serious,” the actor said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. Now that we know Billy is a real witch, not just a Familiar learning magic, “it changes everything.”
Locke has a tough job ahead as the much-anticipated character, especially since Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda is such a loved character in the MCU. Fans have been waiting for her to return since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and introducing one of her sons opens up the chance for the mother-son duo to appear together later on.

In the latest episode of Agatha All Along, Billy’s magic closely resembles his mom’s. He has chaos magic, telepathy, and other cool powers, which viewers also saw in the final episodes of WandaVision.
Locke worked with WandaVision movement coach Jennifer White for Agatha All Along to make sure his magic looked similar to Olsen’s, while also adding his special touch.
Like his mom, Billy is becoming an interesting character with some complicated choices that aren’t always easy to understand. That’s part of his story arc, Locke explained.
New episodes of Agatha All Along come out every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT until October 30.
