Jonathan Bailey is following his Wicked co-star Jeff Goldblum by joining the newest Jurassic Park movie.
During an appearance on the radio show Capital Breakfast, Bailey talked about how he learned he was cast in Jurassic World Rebirth.
Just being near Jeff is an education in itself.
When asked if Goldblum gave him any advice on how to approach the iconic franchise, Bailey said
Bailey and Goldblum both have supporting roles in Wicked. Bailey plays Fiyero, a prince and well-liked student at Shiz University, while Goldblum takes on the famous role of the Wizard.

The Bridgerton star didn’t tell Goldblum right away that he had landed a part in Jurassic World Rebirth, which he was cast in before Wicked was released.

When the news became public, Goldblum was supportive.
He just said, ‘Go and have fun,’ and yeah, as long as I’ve made Jeff proud, then it’s all good.

Bailey, who plays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis in the new movie, said getting the offer felt “kind of like a dream.” Although the producers told him to take his time deciding, Bailey said he was excited to accept the role right away.
They’re like, ‘Okay, we’re sending you the script, you’ve got an offer for the new Jurassic Park. Obviously, take your time to read the script, sit with it over the weekend, and let us know what you think. I was like, ‘I’ll do it.
