Hilary Swank, a two-time Oscar winner, is joining the cast of Yellowjackets for Season 3 on Paramount+ With Showtime. She’ll appear as a recurring guest star in the season, which is currently filming in Vancouver. There’s a chance she could become a regular if the show returns for a fourth season.
Yellowjackets, created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, tells the story of a talented girls’ high school soccer team who survived a plane crash in a remote northern wilderness. The show follows their journey from a close-knit team to a brutal clan fighting for survival. It also explores their lives 25 years later, showing how the past still affects them and that their nightmare in the wilderness is far from over.
Details about Hilary Swank’s character, who will appear later in the season, are still a secret. Since the show focuses on the soccer team, she might be playing the adult version of a teen whose story hasn’t been fully told yet.
