Harrison Ford is the biggest supporter of the Shrinking cast.
On Tuesday, July 15, Ford’s Shrinking co-stars Jessica Williams and Michael Urie shared on Instagram the sweet congratulatory texts he sent them after their 2025 Emmy nominations.
Both Ford, 83, and Urie, 44, received nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for their roles in the Apple TV+ show, while Williams, 35, was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
After the nominations were revealed, Ford had only kind words for his co-stars.
Urie, who plays Brian, posted on Instagram with a screenshot of a text exchange between him and Ford, who plays Dr. Paul Rhoades, and captioned it, “Welp… #emmy.”
“DUUUUUDE” Urie’s message read.

Ford replied
Many fans noticed that Ford had his read receipts turned on.
Both Urie and Ford are first-time Emmy nominees this year.
Williams, who plays Gaby, also posted a message she got from Ford, although her original message to him wasn’t shown.

he wrote, adding
Williams and Urie also celebrated separately together. Williams shared a screenshot of her and Urie looking excited during a FaceTime call in a slideshow she posted on Instagram.

she wrote in the caption

she continued and then Williams concluded her caption with a reference to Ford’s text to her, writing
Shrinking earned seven Emmy nominations this year.
The show follows Jason Segel’s character, Jimmy, a therapist who crosses ethical lines and gets too involved in his patients’ lives while dealing with the grief of losing his wife. Ford and Williams play Jimmy’s fellow therapists, and Urie plays his best friend, a lawyer. Shrinking was also nominated in the top category, Outstanding Comedy Series, competing against Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, The Studio, and What We Do in the Shadows.
Segel was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The 2025 Emmy Awards will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, Sept. 14, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
