Nine has refused to comment after The Block aired a scene showing a two-year-old behind the wheel of a car on private property.

But the relaxing outing was interrupted when the two-year-old grandson of the Trout Farm owner Robert started honking the horn of a nearby car.
He loves bipping the horn. Before we know (it), we hear this car start, go through a bush and then crash into a tree in an embankment, a couple of metres behind us.
Robert said, and Mat described
The moment was shown with The Flight of the Bumblebee playing in the background.
Robert has walked up to the car, opened the door, turned the key off, pulled out a two-year-old by his hand, and we’re standing there going like, ‘Uh, how is no one talking about this or panicked?’. We are standing there going like, how was no one talking about this, or panicked?
Mat said
While the incident happened on private property, co-owner Jan told Yahoo she was “disappointed” the producers aired the scene after promising it wouldn’t be shown on TV.

It was a little, minor accident, and we did ask them not to show that. They promised not to. The child, obviously, is completely unharmed and much loved, so we’re really disappointed that it was shown.

Nine declined to comment.
