These episodes will air on Saturday nights starting Saturday, 27 September at 7:10 pm. First up is Matt Smith’s first outing as the Eleventh Doctor in season 5’s The Eleventh Hour, followed at 8:15 pm by the next episode, The Beast Below.

The BBC hasn’t said how long the reruns will go on or if the channel plans to show all of Smith’s first season as the Doctor—or even more. Fans are also waiting for the new spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea, due next year.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival last month, Kate Phillips, chief content officer at the BBC, said
The latest episode, The Reality War, featured Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor regenerating into Billie Piper—though it’s still unclear if Piper is actually playing the Doctor.
Recently, Gatwa said he “had to wrestle” with himself about staying in the role, explaining that he “fell in love with that show” and will miss it, but that he was “ready to move on.”
