Bosch, who voices Dante in the Netflix series after previously portraying Nero in the Devil May Cry video games, added,
It was an honor to work alongside Kevin Conroy for the upcoming DMC series. A true legend. Batman: The Animated Series redefined cartoons for me. For those wondering, our recording sessions took place a few years ago – animation takes quite some time to complete.
Devil May Cry arrives on Netflix on April 3, already impressing fans with its Limp Bizkit-backed opening and striking style. Viewers have analyzed previous trailers, with many speculating that Studio Mir’s adaptation will be based on the Devil May Cry 3 prequel manga.
The cast also features Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, and the late Tony Todd, who passed away in November, in one of his final roles.
