Marvel Studios has planned many surprise appearances for Deadpool and Wolverine. Some cameos are already known, while others are secret. If a new rumour is true, fans might finally see a live-action battle they’ve been waiting for years.
Over the weekend, several people online hinted at some exciting news. MTTSH says they’ve confirmed that The Hulk will be in the movie.
We don’t know if it will be Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and his angry monster form, the Hulk in CGI, or even a different version of the Hulk (the Multiverse allows for many possibilities). But if this is true, we will likely see Wolverine fight The Hulk in the movie.
It’s hard to think that Kevin Feige would approve a Hulk cameo and director Shawn Levy wouldn’t make it amazing. But if Hugh Jackman is going to play Wolverine in more movies (like the rumoured Avengers: Secret Wars), this battle might happen later. We also have a follow-up post from Alex Perez at The Cosmic Circus.
The MPAA gave the movie an R-rating for intense, bloody violence, language, gore, and sexual references.
“Marvel Studios presents their biggest mistake yet – Deadpool & Wolverine,” says the new synopsis. “A bored Wade Wilson lives a normal life, leaving his days as Deadpool behind. But when his world is in danger, Wade has to become Deadpool again. He must convince a very unwilling Wolverine to join him. Synopses are so annoying to write.”
In addition to Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the leading roles, Deadpool and Wolverine will feature Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), and Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) returning as their characters. Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) are new to the franchise and will play a TV agent and Charles Xavier’s evil twin, Cassandra Nova.
