Disney’s Marvel movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” started strong when it launched on Disney+ on November 12.
In just six days, it got 19.4 million views worldwide. Disney counts a view by dividing the total watch time by the movie’s length. This makes it the most popular live-action film on Disney+ or Hulu since “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” came out earlier this year.
Back in September, Disney shared that the animated movie “Inside Out 2” got 30.5 million views on Disney+ in just five days after it was released.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” came out in theaters in July 2024. This movie was special because it brought Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. It also had Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine again, even though he had said goodbye to the character in “Logan” back in 2017.
In the story, Deadpool finds out that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) wants to destroy his universe. To stop them, he teams up with a Wolverine from a different timeline in the multiverse.

The movie also brought back some famous Marvel characters! Wesley Snipes returned as Blade, Dafne Keen as X-23, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.
Fans also finally got to see Channing Tatum as Gambit, a character from the “X-Men.” The villain of the movie, Cassandra Nova, was played by Emma Corrin.
