Marvel Studios’ TV and Streaming Head, Brad Winderbaum, shared some exciting news on the official Marvel podcast. “Daredevil: Born Again” will start on Disney+ in March 2025. “Agatha All Along” is coming in September 2024, and “Eyes of Wakanda” will be released sometime in 2024.
Brad Winderbaum shared his excitement about the upcoming shows on the Official Marvel Podcast.
“Daredevil is amazing,” he said. “It’s like X-Men ’97 because it brings back something fans love but takes it in a new direction. The characters have grown up. The universe is different now. Things have changed. Society has changed.”
He added, “Matt and Wilson have changed, and their clashes will be unlike anything we’ve seen. It’s not just about trying to kill each other anymore. Now, there’s a whole political game involved.”
Winderbaum also praised “Eyes of Wakanda.” He said, “This show tells the history of Wakanda. It’s produced by Ryan Coogler and directed by Todd Harris, one of our longtime storyboard artists. The action is amazing, and the storytelling is fantastic. It covers Wakanda’s past and connects to the greater MCU at different times. If you love the movies, you’ll enjoy this show.”
“Agatha All Along,” featuring Kathryn Hahn back as Agatha from 2021’s “WandaVision,” is both “fun” and “scary.”
Winderbaum said, “Agatha is entertaining but also very scary and dramatic. She’s an amazing anti-hero. The show starts with Halloween fun, but soon you’re crying. It’s Marvel’s scary. It’s a Halloween show with real dangers. It’s a fun and thrilling ride but also a dangerous one.”
Finally, Winderbaum discussed the new animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” which focuses on Peter Parker’s early years.
“It has amazing twists and turns, but the real strength is the group of characters and the neighborhood,” he said. The show will also introduce characters that haven’t appeared in the MCU.
“Showrunner Jeff Trammel is super excited to work with characters like Peter Parker, Nico Minoru, Lonnie Lincoln, Harry Osborn, and others. These characters make up an interesting teenage group.”
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be available on Disney+, but they haven’t announced when it will come out yet. Until then, you can catch up on Marvel’s previous movies and stay tuned for more exciting announcements from the Marvel universe.
