Pedro Pascal is reportedly super excited about his big MCU debut as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and can’t stop talking about it. It’s no wonder fans are eagerly marking their calendars. Even Dakota Johnson jokes about being a little annoyed by Pascal’s endless excitement over his new role.
Dakota Johnson’s Reaction to Pedro Pascal’s MCU Hype
In a recent episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Dakota Johnson shared a lot about her experiences in the film industry and didn’t shy away from the details. The conversation became especially fun when she started talking about her co-star, Pedro Pascal, from their upcoming romantic comedy, The Materialists.
When host Josh Horowitz playfully mentioned that Pascal is the new Mr. Fantastic, Dakota quickly responded with a witty remark.
Pascal is so excited about his role that Johnson joked she even knows “everything about his diet and workout routine,” adding:
Dakota and Pedro became close friends while working on The Materialists (according to ELLE), a romantic comedy written and directed by Oscar-nominated Celine Song. The movie, which also stars Chris Evans, follows a high-end matchmaker who gets involved with a rich client, as reported by Variety.
In The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Pedro Pascal will be joined by Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. Although the official superhero costumes are still a secret, San Diego Comic-Con 2024 showed some exclusive footage, including a glimpse of the powerful Galactus.
Fantastic Four will hit theaters in July 2025.
