The Madame Blanc Mysteries Season 4 continues with another well-known soap star joining the cast—this time, Coronation Street fan favorite Charlie Condou. In the second episode, titled Inheritance, ex-pat antiques dealer Jean White is called in to investigate after Charlie’s Aunt Fifi is fatally poisoned by an unknown assailant.
Jean soon learns that Fifi owned valuable antiques and collectibles, possibly making Charlie an heir. However, tensions with her half-sister Ines and her husband Alan could complicate matters.
London-born Charlie Condou, 52, guest stars as Pierre in the latest episode of Channel 5’s cosy crime drama—and he’s cleverly attempted to disguise himself with a stylish moustache. Pierre is tied to the Fifi storyline, making him one of the key suspects.

While Charlie is best known for his role in Coronation Street (more on that below), his acting career dates back to 1985, when he portrayed Billy Vandam in the TV movie The Key to Rebecca. His early roles included Peter Murray in A Sense of Guilt, Stuart Wolvis in The Wolvis Family, Jason Stubbs in Frank Stubbs, and Clive Mitchell in the unintentionally amusing soap Eldorado.

More recently, he appeared as Perry Fleming in a 2023 episode of Midsomer Murders and voiced Chris in the podcast Doctor Who: Classic Doctors, New Monsters.
Like The Madame Blanc Mysteries star Sally Lindsay, Charlie Condou was best known for his role in the ITV soap Coronation Street. However, their time on the show never overlapped.
Sally portrayed Shelley Unwin from 2001 to 2006, while Charlie joined the cast in 2007 as Marcus Dent, a midwife with a complicated love life. He remained on the show until 2014, with Marcus becoming well-known for his relationships with Sean Tully, Maria Connor, and Todd Grimshaw.
