The new teaser for Emerald Fennell’s upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation is definitely romantic — and very sensual — with music by Charli XCX.
In the clip shared Wednesday (Sept. 3), Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi turn up the heat as they play Emily Brontë’s classic characters Catherine and Heathcliff.

Elordi tells Robbie at one point, giving fans their first glimpses at the brooding intensity of their performances in the Valentine’s Day-slated adaptation. On X, Charli shared the teaser and revealed that “Everything Is Romantic” won’t be the only song of hers to appear in the film. she wrote.
Wuthering Heights is the newest film project Charli has joined after her big breakout year in 2024 with the success of her Billboard 200 No. 3 album Brat. Earlier this year, she starred in Prime Video’s Overcompensating and also appears in the films Erupcja and 100 Nights of Hero.
I’m enjoying learning about being on a set and learning from great directors and actors. I hate it when musicians dive into a different field head-first without really researching or learning much of anything about it. So I did a lot of reading to educate myself over the past three or four years before I actually did anything.
