Channel 4 is standing by its choice to feature graphic sexual scenes in a new documentary centered on OnlyFans performer Bonnie Blue.
The British adult entertainer – whose real name is Tia Billinger – has sparked ongoing discussion and controversy, especially after she set a personal goal earlier this year to have sex with over 1,000 men in one day, documenting the event for her OnlyFans account. Titled 1,000 Men And Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, the documentary premieres Tuesday on Channel 4. According to the official synopsis:
[This] documentary goes behind the headlines, clickbait and ragebait to discover what life’s really like in Bonnie’s wild orbit, how she got here and what’s really going on behind those steely blue eyes. The film sensitively explores the central question polarising debate about her: Is she a ‘dangerous predator’, pandering to male fantasies and perpetuating the patriarchy? Or an empowered, sex positive, businesswoman having the last laugh?
Following news that the film would include explicit sexual scenes, Channel 4 issued a statement defending the decision.
Careful consideration has been given to the content and the way in which it is included, The explicit content in the documentary is editorially justified and provides essential context; making pornographic content is Bonnie’s job, and this film is about her work and the response to it.
a spokesperson told The Mirror
Crucially, the content is presented in a non-gratuitous manner and viewers will be alerted of the sexual content in a programme warning at the start to ensure they understand from the outset the nature of the programme.

Director Victoria Silver also weighed in on her vision for the film: “Bonnie Blue refuses to conform to public opinion and lives life by her own rules.
At a time when factual TV is awash with retrospective stories, I wanted to capture the energy of a live and evolving story, with a woman at the heart of it who’s living her life in such a bold way.
Bonnie Blue has remained in the spotlight, recently drawing criticism for appearing on a podcast with controversial internet figure Andrew Tate. Tate, a prominent personality in the so-called “manosphere,” is currently facing 10 charges related to three alleged victims, including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking, according to BBC News. He has denied all charges.
Additionally, Bonnie was reportedly banned from OnlyFans last month after planning a “petting zoo” event, in which she claimed up to 2,000 men would have sex with her while she was tied up — a scene she intended to livestream on her page.
