Celia is turning into the highlight of the series with her exploits on screen.
National treasure Celia Imrie showed her mischievous side again on the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors, cracking a filthy joke during a well-based task. The gag came shortly after a separate incident in which a loud fart of hers disrupted filming earlier in the week.
As the celebrities arrived at the well, comedian Lucy Beaumont remarked: “You know what you do in a well, don’t you?” Before the group could respond, Celia jumped in with: “Put the pussy in.” The quip — referencing the old nursery rhyme with the lyrics “Ding Dong Bell, Pussy’s in the well” — left fellow contestants speechless and barely containing laughter. “Oh come on, we were all thinking it,” she insisted, while others admitted they “hadn’t a clue.”

It follows a moment on Wednesday night when Celia passed wind at the start of another task. After the noise was heard, host Claudia Winkleman asked: “What just happened?” Celia replied: “I just farted, Claudia. It’s nerves, but I always own up.” Fellow contestant Kate Garraway later told Good Morning Britain: “It was so loud! How could somebody so elegant, so petite, so gracious, let off that huge sound?”
Alan Carr continued teasing her in the next episode while playing badminton at Ardross Castle, saying: “Celia, we need a bit of wind to get it over the net.” Celia laughed before firing back: “Oh shut up!”
The Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC and remains packed with on-screen shocks, jokes and unfiltered moments as the cast battle for the prize.
