Netflix shared on Twitter that Taylor Swift’s song ‘You Belong with Me’ and Ariana Grande’s song ‘POV’ will be in ‘Bridgerton’ season 3, part 2.

On June 11, Netflix shared the song list for Bridgerton season 3, part 2. Advertisement Netflix confirmed on Twitter that the second part of Bridgerton season 3 will have instrumental covers of popular songs. These include Taylor Swift‘s “You Belong With Me,” Ariana Grande‘s “POV,” Coldplay‘s “Yellow,” Demi Lovato‘s “Confident,” Ellie Goulding‘s “Lights,” and Imagine Dragons‘ “Thunder.”
Fans guessed that Coldplay’s “Yellow” would be in the new season because the Vitamin String Quartet’s cover on Spotify changed to show clips from Bridgerton.
Taylor Swift’s songs have been on Bridgerton before. They used her song “Wildest Dreams” in the first season in December 2020, and “Snow on the Beach” in season 3, part 1.
This will be the second time an Ariana Grande song is in Bridgerton. An instrumental cover of her song “thank u, next” was in the first episode of the first season.
Bridgerton’s season 3, part 2 starts right after Penelope Featherington and Colin get engaged quickly after their romantic carriage ride in episode 4.

In a recent interview, Luke Newton (who plays Colin) and Nicola Coughlan (who plays Penelope) told PEOPLE their goal was to make their love scenes feel real for their characters.
Nicola Coughlan, 37, said,
“The intimate scenes this season feel very real. It shows two people who are a bit awkward with each other but can be close in a genuine and beautiful way. That makes it really touching.”
In part 2, Penelope struggles with whether to tell Colin that she is actually the famous gossip writer, Lady Whistledown. In the trailer, Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jesse) warns Penelope that Colin will find out her secret and can’t truly love her until he knows the real her.
Colin also seems to get suspicious and asks Penelope if she is hiding something from him.
Bridgerton showrunner Jess Brownell told PEOPLE that in part 2,
“Penelope is the one keeping secrets. When those secrets come out, she might need to prove herself to Colin.”
The first part of Bridgerton season 3 is streaming now on Netflix, and part 2 will be available on June 13.
